Testimony from East Pokot

Missionary Mary planted the Chesches Harbingers Fellowship Church in 2022. She started the church under a tree in the bush and God has graciously helped her ever since. Having a church there has drastically changed the area for the Glory of God. The church has been growing and now has about 120 members. People who remained in their homes all day can now interact with others in the church during prayer and service times on Sundays. They have weekly fellowship meetings at different homes to encourage and pray with each other. Mary says, “Many are surrendering their lives to Jesus and being transformed by

the power of God. After empowering them with the teachings of the Word of God, we took them to the Keriyo River to be baptized!” Missionary Mary, together with other members of the community, started a school with about 57 children. She and one volunteer teach them every weekday morning. Before the school, the children were simply looking after sheep with no education opportunity.
